If change halfcut what need to prepare?
I got find my 2.0 V6 Manual halfcut, but before i confirm to change it what else i need prepare?
Like go Puspakom, and form or letter need summit?
And 1 question 2.0 V6 Manual for RM4700 worth?
You are right, i got find another only RM3800.
And installation charges RM1200 but not included get letter from JPJ.
Steven..its around that price now. I think your in Penang right..if in KL got 2 halfcut about the same price maybe 3700 without body part.

Ya, RM3800 is good enough but i got 1 more issue that is current using 4Lug Rim (15" just buy only),
but V6 is 5Lug, if want change to 16" 5Lug it will out off my burget to modify it.
Or can i use back 4Lug, later got burget only install back 5Lug and change new rim?
there is one V6 half cut manual left in Mun Lee (puchong) potong shop. They offer it RM3,600 and RM1,600 for labour if you let them do the transplant.
I've got 1 for rm3.5K(open price). But I've already booked it...hehheee

Price for parts for transplate ke? if so, then prepare around RM1K for parts only. Lists of parts to buy :
1. Timing belt kits - RM 200
2. Clutch kits - RM350
3. Plugs (depends on what brand, normal like super 4 RM50 box of 4pcs, you will need 2 boxes maa...6pcs = RM100)
4. Gear Oil & Engine Oil (depends on what brand also. Normal RM40 & RM 55 respectively) = RM110
5. Mountings (if old one cannot use) = depends
6. Water pumps = RM 100
7. Head Gasket (if got leaks) RM 90
8. Air Filter = RM 25
9. Oil Filter = RM 15
10. Fuel Filter = RM 50
11. others ...
all the above already come up to rm950 lor minus the mounting. Actual price may differ, pls check at local store ok. Mine last time cost me RM1100. Still have the receipts for memory...ha..ha..sentimental value ha..ha...and can see how big my pocket hole after that...

how about the clutch plate, clutch cover?...
Clutch plate and cover, still ok according to mech. Hence, no change...
After i transplate KFZE about 6 month i got below problem come out.
Absorber mounting broken.
Gearbox oil leak.
Power Steering leak.
Engine mounting (Behind engine) broken.
Some front wheel bush broke.
Front wheel got "klock klock" sound come out. (Still dont know what problem)

Absorber mounting broken. => Pls check whether u r using the KF spec absorber or not, if still using the B6 or BP 1, then mounting broken is considered normal, as KF is too heavy for the absorber or mounting that u r using. If u r using the KF absorbers, i think it just wear & tear only.
Gearbox oil leak. => If u didnt change or replace any oil seal or gasket b4 transplant, just plug & play the whole KF in only, problem like this will always happen.
Power Steering leak. => Normally is wear & tear, depends on which part leak, pressure hose? pump? steering rack?
Engine mounting (Behind engine) broken. => It is very important part that must be replace with new one b4 engine transplant, as it is the most difficult part to change afterward.
Some front wheel bush broke. => If u were from B6 to KF, this is normal, as B6 lower arm bushes cant withstand the KF's weight, especially the rear lower arm bush.
Front wheel got "klock klock" sound come out. (Still dont know what problem) => If all the lower arm bushes gone already, u will have the 'klock' sound when u acceralating, turning in corner or rough road condition; If u heard the 'klock' sound once u finish turned the steering to left or right, that means ur driveshaft cover broken, and driveshaft head also gone already.
So, I think u can feeling there is a lot of parts that will need to be change now, but this is normal since Lantis is not a new car. However, if u could fix all these problem 1 by 1, u can get it back to the new car feeling in term of handling. Maybe u could also look for the upgrading parts for the replacements, it is worth to do it that way, as Lantis' handling design is better than a lot of else cars in the market.
Ya, as you say when i convert to KF is plug and play only, just only change all the belt and oil only.
So right now need change all the lower bush, mounting and etc and it will cost alot of money......
And also need to repaint my hold car body due to the paint was "brake".





4700 is consider too expensive, please check into our previous topics about the halfcut pricing.
please dont be so rush on make deal, better find few halfcuts to compare, actually there are still a lot of KF halfcut out there.
U may ask for our sifu here to help, MK, Poon or etc..., they could provide very useful informations on searching the halfcut.
