FS engines
This is the FS-ZE Mazdaspeed spec which is simpler engine than the V6 with more quicker response. It uses electronic distributorless spark plug ignitions. This is the way to go for me. Others will say...hard to find... is it really?
yeop joe..keep the info streaming in so that the not so knowledgable bunch (like me) would have more knowledge on mazda engines. Frankly in Malaysia not many ppl know that mazda has produced quite a number of good engines.
KFZE is getting popular & now has very strong followers. More chopshops r taking advantages from the engine. Compared 8 years ago when i first encountered & installed it, back then it is very-very hard to find one. From the price of RM2500 including 4 sets of calipers & rotor disc, now it is priced between RM3500-RM4500 per halfcut. But becarefull not to be mistaken between K8.
It is like this same situation I am encountering now. But i am a go getter & a risk taker. And i would like to share it to u all. If u all feel skeptic about this FS engine with 1000 what if questions in yr mind, then fine with me. Just sit infront of yr monitor & read it.
Why Mazda not popular in Malaysia? Ask Cycle & Carriage lah wat they have done bringing in that brand. Now this new management buyover Bermaz...will it be better that C&C? Maybe be.. but still can be questionable

Hope this will help and regarding de engine to be source in local Malaysia market, I asked a few friends of mine. Which is negative feed back where they said, mostly for mazda lantis, K series engines and B series engines can source out easily anytime and anywhere.
Therefore in my opinion, if really want to get this engine, make a special order from chop shop or buy online from JDM engines...

Happy brings lucky ~ ^^
The FS-DET uses Garret ball bearings turbine & the size of a normal B8-180 turbine that produces +/-200hp same as FS-ZE but the DET has double TORQUE power than the ZE. Both specs was used in Mazdaspeed tuned cars.
The DE spec is the standard version with +/-150hp and last but not least the FP engine with 1.8L capacity.

Did you guys know that Mazda produced the KF-ZE tag engine for some good reason?
I bet u all thought ZE's upgrading would be difficult unless u put in the turbine or chargers. Some have tried port & polishing, change to a bigger 2.5 litre engine block, while others would tried the over-budget works such as TODA cams & pulleys, etc. etc. And some even want to change their ECU to powerfull aftermarket ones such as F-CON, APEXI and the ultimate Microtech, Haltech & Motec.
But has anyone been informed that Mazda did produced a series of very special engine models & very special ECUs? What i meant was to piston engines as the rotary engine is the jewel in the crown for Mazda.
Most of us have heard of Double Over Head Cam, Double VVT, Double Vanos, Double Turbos & even 4 or Quad throttle. Mazda did produced those kind of terms including Double Board ECU. Err... Double board..??? What izzit for? How does it work? What are the pros & cons? (ah... normal question),,, Izzit available in Malaysia? And so many questions ringing our heads...
The double board ECU is specially made for performance & if anyone has it but dunno what izzit, well... we might say he has a gold mine under his dashboard.. An expert twitching & tuning would increase a decent normal 100hp to a whopping 200hp dragger... Unbelievable... believe it..
Find a person who is well verse to Mazda engines & u will know which car has the double board... Find the ECU & your car will perform like a Big VTEC of a Honda.
There was an old saying... Better catch the fish with a fishing rod, rather than have the fish inside your mouth... Know what i mean bros...
Hint: Maybe Murali macha could help u guys out there...
