When can we see A LANTIS compete in a True & Legal Race?

Hi all..

I would like to raise the Lantis members spirit alive... if not much, a little bit pun OK laaaaaahhh..

Since many of us are sooooooo crazy about this car model, why there are still no Lantises compete in any minor or major races in Malaysia... at least sprintrace at kampung-kampung ones (Legal race ya..).

If u guys noticed, those Familias or Protege or Interplays or some called "Lantis Sedan" (by Malaysian importers last time around) are competing in TRUE races.. not some suka-suka sprint test...and they are damn good & powerful, beating them other than Mazda models like hell man.They made me proud as a Mazda owner!

 I've got a friend who's a performance workshop owner & his friends in USJ that races three 323 cars according to race standards. Beginning with stock 210hp up to 450++hp...but no Lantis 323F around. Why? Is it because of higher pricing of Lantis parts compare to Familia. My friends competed their Familias with those Wiralution, Sagalution, Wajalution, Perdanalution, VTECkek, Skylines & Garisanlangit.... (er toyota very little participations...dunno why). Those guys really have nerves & guts to challenge the "lution" cars... Ironically, the workshop owner drives a Caldina ZT & a City...

 I think many of u guys out there don't feel that they have enuf power of their BAs, V6s or even their B8-180/210s, maybe coz they r still very-very stock engines. Nothing to be fancy about i guess... Some have tested 160hp & some have the powerful 210hp engine.. Many of us have never tested a 250hp car, but some are very lucky to drive a 300hp car...But still these horsepower figures are weak when wanting to compete in a real drag race battle. At least we must start somewhere in the hp configuration standard.. Which hp powerzone do u want to start for your Lantis? Did u guys ever noticed that Lantis has the most advantages in the CoD (coefficiant drag) department... some say aerodynamics..

If choosing NA or Normal Aspirated or Non-force induction (chargers & turbines) setup, the cost would be much lower than using the forces engines. Really? Not really.. it depends on how much u wanna gain the hp... the more u want the more the RM lah.. SO if u wanna drag race, forget about NA & go for forcey engines. But NA is still needed to challenge the VTECkeks & MIVECkeks...isn't it? But NA can't win races with the turbos lah..unless u put a V6 3.0L or V8 5.0L or F1 spec engine in your Lantis engine bay, then ok lah!! Not really..there are ways..

So i would like to see those undisputed self-proclaimed powercraze young guns (aged below 35) out there to do something about it. It's about time that the Lantis community get serious & doing the ultimate fun in car enthusiasm for once awhile.. not just racing each other only...if not it will be pity just being a spectator.... everytime... and be a 'kaki kutuks' favourite car to kutuk & looked down...Don't let older guys (aged above 35) go in first to race..hahaha

But beware... racing cars is very-very dangerous to all of us...in terms of our pocket lah... actually it's very-very fun & very-very satisfaction guaranteed if doing it at a proper safety environment... better than Sex... Just remember to race Legally ya..& do practice a lot.

I hope this article would be a spirit burning to everyone that has passion & fonding love of racing, coz the ultimate car enthusiast group activity is actually there on the track. Not just pusing2 makan angin 2-3 rounds at the track, but compete in a REAL race. I hope that my posting won't be misunderstood & offending others... if u guys don't like it, so i'm sorry if i'm wasting time..
