[WTB] 3rd brake light + cover
Mine was either stolen or it flew off. Anyone seen one at a chop shop or knows where I can get it molded by a fiber glass shop? Any help would be much appreciated.
Eugenet, usually chop shop not willing to part with the cover and light only, if they are willing they will sell for about RM300, its better if you buy the whole hatch...

Yes, was talking to my mechanic and he mentioned a price of approximately RM400 for the hatch. He has not found one yet.
I'm thinking of getting one molded because 2nd hand covers can be scratched and anytime these things can fly off. But I'll need a sample to make a copy. dCtru, if you want we can shop and share the cost of getting a brake light cover to copy.
eugenet, leave me ur contact number here. i have a BROKEN and BADLY SCRATCH brake light cover. maybe i can lend you as sample to mold but u might collect it by urself. my location is taman melati pv3. but not going to be these few days for you to collect ofcourse, let me settle down everything first(very busy these week), so probally should be next week or next 2 weeks. then after u mold maybe i can get myself one, since i have no brake light at this moment. we will see how it goes.
I'm in Jalan Genting Kelang, Setapak, so we are like neighbors. Since you have one, I'll focus on looking for someone to mold a copy. It'll be tricky but better than getting a scratchy junk for our beautiful car.
