why is it like that?
i just got my car,when i opened the bonnet i noticed on the exhaust header,the oxygen sensor jutting out without any cable connecting it to the ecu.seems like it have been cut.whats the effect?i assume that it is faulty and messed up the engine management so the previous owner cut it away.how do i fix this?on the first full tank fill up i already noticed that the fc is high
slow slow la bro.poket belum penuh lagi.this thing is fixable or not?if the sensor is faulty where can i get a replacement?
is there any problem now.....if no...then let it be.....mine also like that before....don't worry.....just save the money for now....then we go searching for new monster....all monster here getting old now....dont worry be happy....
i found something shocking just now.i checked the engine code and it's B551-6.it's actually a 1.5!but the registration says 1.6.adui...nevertheless,theres not much problem apart from high fc (typical isnt it?) and a bit underpower.only shocking to know.at least the body is ok.more reason to find a v6 i guess
as i know...mazda neo is the one with 1.5 engine...is it your car mazda lantis....is there any transplant before....hmmmmmm.....go for v6 then u will get shock again...hahahhahahaha
it is a lantis.i think it's uk spec coz it's is available with 1.5 engine over there
if not mistaken all lantis in malaysia are CKD and they are a few are CBU from japan (early model)
nevermind laa...just go for V6 20 or 2.5....then no more arguing.......very shock today chop shop asking for 4.5k for the halfcut....crazy price....better ask sifu of chop shop here.....wei lu mana.......

i dunno which part i should look for.most relevant info i presume is the stated amount of rm90 and another is the number 1598 SP,is this the engine cubic capacity?btw,my roadtax gonna expire by 26/3.is the rebate thing still going on?
u better look at your engine and chassis number to make sure that it is the same engine and chassis number stated in the road tax. If not, there might be problems when comes to insurance claim.
A lot of times when ppl change engine, they might not have update the road tax; i.e. inform JPJ. When you get this car, did you send to puspakom for nispection?
btw, the rebate you can still claim if you haven't claim previously.

4.5k for a v6 half cut quite crazy. normally you can find ranging from 3k to 3.5k. thats the only thing i know not chop shop macha lar...mk is the chopshop taiko..everyone knows that..hehehe

If yr engine code name says B5-ZE or B6-ZE or B8-ZE, then it's a very different ball game for all the V6s... What a shock it will be for tha V6..
Never underestimate lower cc engine, especially mazda..

is it your car 1.6 or 1.8....is there only the fc problem....if that the case i think u should changed your engine to V6 2.0...then you will solve the problem.....that the only solution to make your fc reliable....
