Starter Problem?
i have this problem since i bought my car. Lets say i havent drive the car for a week, then one weekend i decide to drive. i start the engine first time and the engine started like normal. i drive around, stop somewhere went shopping.
then when i come back, start the car again, the engine wont start. it produce 'click' sound then silent. 2nd try also same. after 4-5 times only the engine will start. this has happen occasionally. but so far the engine never fail to start, only it take several attempts.
i notice this normally happens to old cars. is it starter problem, or something else because i read if the fuel injection/carburetor clogged can also cause this. pressing the acceleration pedal halfway while starting sometimes work sometimes dont.
huh.. i thought some of us already had this problem. either they dont want share or there's still no cure until now. anyway,
battery ok.. new
starter - will try to replace
fuel filter ok.. new
spark plug ok.. new
plug cable... havent checked
Its not tat we dun wan to share, but its that we have not encountered such problems before.
Anyway, just replace the starter. I personally dun think it has to do with plug cables or plugs.

I seldom drive my baby these days. Just lay there covered most of the time. Start it every 4-5 days. Haven't experienced no sound b4. Happened once cause my battery was already long due. The battery light will light up. Even that got that batuk-batuk (coughing) sound, not total silence. If silent but can start later, could be ur alterator. Maybe u want to check it.

common mazda problem.....
if got crank, but cannot start - check pump and fueling system
if just the clicking sound - check battery connector,water and battery life spend.
if battery all ok....check on the ignition switch and wiring....
if above mention solution all checks out ok.....confirm starter carbon, or start problem
that should solve the problem...

and if anyone wants to change your starter can come find me...kekek..coz i've one extra...n its newly bought about 3-4 months which cost me RM270(resit masih ada) but used only 1-2 months coz when i bought my engine it comes wit it..so i use the japan one...pm me if anything..ciaoZz
confirm the starter la.. coz last time also mine like that.. then changed it okay till I transplant. most likely it the starter.. car sudah old maa.. banyak electronic/ mechanical parts sampai time

experienced this before wif friends 323f and mine as, well its due to a carbon build up within the starter motor itself, you can opt to service the starter which is not recommended, best bet is to go pickup a 2nd hand starter, i would recommend the newer hi speed starters made by maz after yr 2000, honda bX starters can be used for the nice honda quick start sounding...
but the gearing on the motor would need to be modified... uh... not recommended
unless the ur guy has done it before..
temporary solution would be cleaning the battery terminals and cleaning out the grime on the starter motor wiring at the back.... just my opinion....... 
sorry long time no update. i have changed the starter 2nd hand but the problem still happen. went to the battery shop, and found out its the battery that is problem... the voltage is just weak (more than 2 years old already). :bigsmile: Relief that i havent bought a brand new starter yet (kemuncak price is RM450).
Wah....kekura still alive all this while....he..he... long time no c..what happen 2 u....commitment byk ke....just 1 son and 1 wife only wei......takkan dah tak leh join kita orang go minum2....
hehe.. kekura is about to retire.. tengah waiting for new generation honda civic... 2011?
ha..ha.. civic 2011 another 1 1/2 year lagi wei... during the waiting period...u still can join us meh.... after u bought the civic also still can join maaa... it just up to u / owner if still wanna join or not... friends still friends maaa...car diff does not matter....ha..ha..
